Damn that snow! Although the inclement weather kept the crowd to intimate, the Meals
on Wheels benefit concert last night was a great show. Thanks to everyone who made
it out and special thanks to Jen for organizing the event. She did a great job and we
were proud to be part of the charity event in raising money for Meals on Wheels!
Our sights now turn to the new year and our next show at Rodney's in Irwin. Keep
checking our schedule as we have many shows already in the works for 2010 including
the first ever pure Neutral Loss concert. New covers and yes, new originals are on
their way...
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Well if ever there was proof of guardian angels, we saw it last night at the Oakmont
Tavern. Our angel was Mark Laritonda who came to our rescue when Jeff realized he
had left his cymbals, his only cymbals, at the Lighthouse after our last show there. Long
story short, Mark was kind enough to bring his set of cymbals to the show for Jeff to
use. Don't let him forget it Mark! Anyway, we had a great time as always at the Oakmont
Tavern. Thanks to everyone who showed. Our next show is November 14 at Rodney's
in Irwin.

We'd like to thank everyone who showed up last night at The Lighthouse. It was a great
crowd and a great place for rock music. Thanks to Mike and Gary as well who took care
of our sound and lights for us. We look forward to playing there again soon. Our next
show is October 24th at the Oakmont Tavern. This show will be very special as it will be
our 100th show. Plan to be there for another celebration!

Unfortunately, our show scheduled for this Saturday, 8/29/09, at Rodney's has been
cancelled. We're sorry for any inconvenience this late notice may have caused. The
show was cancelled by Rodney without explanation. We're quite disappointed as we
have enjoyed playing at Rodney's and have always promoted it as one of our favorite
venues. We hope to reschedule there soon.

Well, what can we say? The show at Royal Place on June 6th was depressing yet a
celebration. With the Penguins getting shut out by the Red Wings, depression set in,
the sound check was earlier than expected and Neutral Loss took the stage with
energy, surprisingly at 10:00pm. Although there was a “small” crowd Saturday night,
they hung in there and kept Neutral Loss energized ALL night long. This was a
“special” crowd, special because “Duff” a long time Neutral Loss supporter and friend
officially retired from Port Authority. “Duff” was a rail operator and a loyal Union
Representative for Local 85. He’ll be missed but expected to be present at ALL Neutral
Loss shows going forward. This night was special for “Duff’s” children as well. They’ve
been serving our country in Iraq and we were honored to have one of “Duff’s” son’s at
the show Saturday night after a long deployment in Iraq. Thank you! Also, ironically,
“Tim” (the guy taking over for “Duff” as the Union Rep) received a phone call this week
from his son. His son was calling to let Tim know that he safely arrived in Iraq. So, there
were several things to celebrate and we did just that. Opening up the second set with
Star Spangled Banner seemed priceless for Tim. He stood for the entire solo
performed by Jim DiPerna. All we can say to Tim, Duff and Duff’s children is….Thank
you. Don’t think we forgot about Kevin and Cindy, Bill & wife, Dawn, Rich, the ZZ Top
couple, LaNette and Joe. You guys made this a memorable show and we appreciate
your support. Finally, thanks to “Jeff” from Mean Street for “popping” in.
Neutral Loss will be back at Royal Place on September 12th, 2009. Keep checking the
website for updates and ALL upcoming Neutral Loss shows.

Another great show was had at Rodney's last night. Thanks to everyone who made it
out especially Zach, Nicholas, and Gianna and Gabriella (Jim and Jeff's kids
respectively). Another great crowd showed up as well and definitely enjoyed
themselves as the dancing continued all the way up to the final song. Gina and Alicia
were great as always and we expect to begin working on some new material with them
in coming weeks. We'll be back at The Royal Place on Saturday June 6, 2009 after a
lengthy absence. It's another great venue located in Overbook off Rte 88- easy to get
to. We look forward to another great show there and to seeing all of you again!
Keep in mind, if you missed picking up one of our CDs at the show, you can purchase
them right here online by clicking one of the links above. These CDs contain all original
material written and performed by Neutral Loss!

Thank you to all of you who made it out to the Hard Rock Cafe last night. What a fun
crowd! The Penguins' big overtime win put us all in a good mood. Go PENS! Well, the
spotlight turns to Rodney's where we'll be next Saturday May 16. We're looking forward
to another big show there. Our friends Gina and Alicia will be performing with us as
well so you don't want to miss. Show time is 10 p.m. Check out the Hard Rock photos in
the photos section.

After a very interesting but frustrating evening at the Oakmont Tavern last night, we're
now turning our sights to the Hard Rock Cafe in Pittsburgh for our huge "100th Show
Celebration"! This will be another great event celebrating a great milestone with lots of
new tunes and plenty of door prizes. Tickets are only $7. Come down to one of the
nicest venues in the area and enjoy one of the best bands in the area. A special thank
you goes out to Gina and Alicia for belting out some tunes with us again and to the
great crowd at the Oakmont Tavern last night for enduring all those technical
difficulties- still a great time was had by all....
See you all at the Hard Rock Cafe!
**4-10-09**
We've just added a new show to our schedule! As part of our "100th Show Celebration",
we have been asked to play at one of our favorite venues- The Hard Rock Cafe at
Station Square Pittsburgh. This huge event will be held on Saturday May 9, 2009. Yes,
it's been that many! The Hard Rock Cafe is a great place to see the city of Pittsburgh as
well as enjoy fine food and of course your favorite local rock trio Neutral Loss. Tickets
are only $7 and can be purchased ahead of time (highly recommended- just see one of
the boys in the band) or can be purchased at the door the night of the show. There will
be some giveaways, as usual, as well as plenty of new tunes. Check back here often for
more details and updates.
Come out to The Hard Rock Cafe and help Neutral Loss celebrate its 100th show!!

Another Night at one of our favorite places to play Rodneys!! Friday the 20th
was a ton of fun to be had by all. Gina and Alicia joined us again to belt out a
few great ones. Special note also was that Friday was Gina's birthday, so we
celebrated it with a show!! We had a great time and it seemed like the crowd
did also. We can't wait to be back there in May. Upcoming on April 25th is our
other favorite place to play for the last 8 years or so, The Oakmont Tavern.
If you haven't been there for a while you gotta check out what they did to the
place. One big room on the first floor and an upstairs deck overlooking the
Blvd. SEE YA AT THE SHOW!!!!

there yet, you've got to try and make the next show. We'll be back at Rodney's on
Friday, March 20th. Help us celebrate our very own Rick Cerra's birthday! We also hope
to present a few new cover tunes for you as well. Remember, if you need a CD just

may be a third CD in the works?? Just ask one of the boys at the next show!

What can I say, The Oakmont crowd was incredible as usual!! Everyone was in the
partying mood for the Super Bowl weekend and we had a great night playing for you all.
Gina did us the honor again of coming up from the D.C. area to sing with us, which was
great!! We will have Gina and Alicia singing at our next show at Rodneys in Irwin on the
21st of this month. Once again I have to say that you have got to come out to Rodneys.
It is a very nice Bar/Restaurant just off of Rt 30 in Irwin. Take the Pike to Irwin exit-Head
towards Greensburg one light- Right turn at light (Arona Rd)-Up hill to stop sign-Right
turn over the pike and into the parking lot. It is literally 3 minutes from the Irwin
Exchange. So set the Cruise Control and head to Irwin on the 21st and hear one of the
Best Rock Bands in the area. See Ya At The Show!!!

First off, please bare with us as we update the site. Consider it an early spring
cleaning. Next, thanks to all of you who made it to the show at Rodney's on December
27th. What a show! Again, it's all of you who make the shows as fun as they are for all of
us and we love having fun! Speaking of fun, join us again for our next show on
Saturday, 1/31/09 at our old friends' the Oakmont Tavern. Show time is 10 p.m. , and
